User Experience
User Experince (UX)
User experience is the quality of the interaction a person has with a website or computer application, taking into consideration factors such as ease of use and how pleasing the site is to interact with. This can include factprs such as how satisfied they are overall, how easy the buying/conversion process was, as well as factors beyond your control such as a person's perception, behaviour, or response to outside stimuli. You want to aim to give your guests the best user experience possible to keep them coming back!
UX is influenced by three factors:
1. The user's state of mind and previous experience
2. The system and/or its properties
3. The context of usage
UX design’s goal is to create a positive experience for the visitors and turn them into customers. It takes into account your visitors’ needs, values, IT acumen, context, and limitations, then creates a website that handles all of these elements in the best way possible.
UX means improving the quality of users’ interactions on your website, as well as making your website desirable, accessible, user-friendly, functional, and reliable. Optimized UX encourages your visitors to re-visit your website, do more business with you, and also refer other customers to you through word-of-mouth recommendations.
UXO (User Experience Optimization)
As with any form of marketing, a website is not a “build-it-and-they-will-come” scenario. It requires constant work and updates. If your audience finds your website, it becomes a matter of how they navigate through and interact with elements within it. Better UX leads to higher conversion rates, lower bounce rates, and a better reputation, which will improve both your organic and paid listings with Google.
